Many Peaks Assembly was founded in 2013 by designer, maker and researcher Rose Megirian. A graduate of RMIT University's prestigious fashion program, she completed her honours within the School of Architecture and Design where she specialised in advanced pattern drafting, tailoring and conceptual fashion theory, before later undertaking an advanced diploma in gold and silversmithing and a Bachelor of psychology.
Moving fluidly between materials, mediums, scale and form, she creates timeless one offs and limited edition pieces for the body and the home, expertly crafted from exquisite materials. Through this way of working, her practice has developed a distinct visual language blancing playfulness with precision and grounded in a deep respect for materiality, form and process, and in the enduring pleasure of useful, beautiful and finely crafted things.
Beyond the studio, her practice extends to services in art direction, styling, consultation and curation, multidisciplinary design projects, workshops, public programs, and community and sector initiatives drawing on design, psychology and behavioural science to shape the ways we experience and engage with each other and the world around us.
