The Extra Large MPA Amphora Scarf is a 105 x 105cm silk crepe de chine square scarf 100% designed and made in Australia.

Using the silk scarf as a canvas, Rose Megirian has created a project to merge her design vision and artistic pursuits: fashion, 2-dimensional artworks and functional art objects.

The original artwork was a paper cut of ancient vessels, nudes, flies and flowers. Each element was hand cut from the paint swatch samples commonly found in hardware stores. Some of the paper cuts were then hand painted to add detail.

The final piece was photographed at high resolution by fine art photographer Bo Wong and printed onto a luxurious 100% silk fabric.

This design is also available as a regular size 65 x 65cm scarf.
